TVB anniversary - International Vote 2005

Hi All

TVB has opened it's voting for some of the awards in this year's TVB anniversary to overseas viewers. Here are the instructions on how to go about this:

Firstly visit this page:

tvcity.tvb.com/special/anniversary2005/vote/index-1.html

It reads:

Two special awards have been added to this year's anniversary line up and it will be decided with an internet vote, where overseas viewers can join the fun in this great Chinese Television event! Those voters who successfully answer the simple question will be entered into a draw for some great prizes. Details are below:

1. You must select one nominee from each of the categories and answer the quiz question. Then hit the vote button. (right button).
2. All completed voting forms with a correct answer will be entered into the draw to win some great souvenirs.
3. This vote is only open to overseas viewers, HK viewers must take part in the "Nine Anniversary awards" and "Other Awards" vote categories only.
4. Voting will run from 12th Oct 2005 and 12 noon on 18th November.
5. Entrants must be at least 18 years of age.
6. The voting form must be completed in full, otherwise it will be void.
7. All personal information entered on the form may be used in production or broadcast and may be provided to the sponsors.
8. Information may also be passed onto subsiduaries of TVB Ltd for promotional and marketing purposes. If you do not wish to be included in such activity, then this must be notified to the company in writing.
9. All entries will be destroyed one month after the draws have been completed.
10. The draw is not open to employees of TVB Ltd or the sponsoring organisations or their families to ensure fairness.
11. TVB Ltd reserves the right of final decision in case of arbitration.
12. Draw prizewinners will be announced on 19th Nov 2005 (Sat) on the TVB Anniversary home page.
13. The award winners will be announced at the TVB Anniversary production on 19th Nov 2005.
14. Prizewinners will be notified separately.

i am a canadaian citizen and i do not have an ID number and when i entered my canadian phone number it does not work, i was not able to complete the vote.

could somebody tell me what should i do so that i am able to vote

I think that even if it shows an error page, your vote has still been accepted because when I tried to resubmit my entry today, it said that I had already voted.

If you don't have an ID, just put in your passport or local ID card number, I think it still takes it.

The phone number doesn't work for me either!! I had to take off the area code and any dash. After that..it worked for me! I'm j/ wondering when we will be able to see the vote results? Because its online..I was wondering if they will have a poll that shows who is in the lead! ^^ Thanks Em for the info!!

If you get a pop-up message, it is most likely telling you that each member can only vote once. I got that message when I tried to resubmit after getting an error page.
